Workshop Truck Mechanic

About the role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our workshop team based in our Gladstone Workshop.

You’ll be responsible for maintenance and repairs on a diverse fleet of small to medium trucks, with opportunities to expand your skillset across our heavy earthmoving equipment, auxiliary plant, and light vehicles.

To be considered for this role you will have:

  • Relevant Heavy Diesel trade certificate (essential)
  • Current C class Queensland licence (minimum), HR Licence or above is desirable
  • Knowledge with Mack, Isuzu, Hino trucks, floats and trailers. 
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
  • Confidence in identifying and communicating defects
  • A proven track record of accurate, high quality workmanship
  • Self-Motivation and the ability to work autonomously
  • Strong safety focus

·         Ability to pass a full pre-employment medical including functional assessment and drug and alcohol screening.
