About the role:
Our Light Vehicle mechanical division is currently in search for are dynamic individual who wants to take the next step in their career. Working with an intimate team we want a team player, someone who aspires to lead a team and be part of a large workshop also incorporated with the heavy vehicle team.

The role will require you to undertake the following.


 



  • Provide technical expertise and direction for workshop staff.

  • Lead all functions of the EVS workshop, including job allocation, stock control and work outcomes

  • Implement a safety culture and maintain the workshop and surrounds in line with HSE workshop industry standards

  • Develop systems to ensure that all vehicles and equipment are maintained at acceptable levels

  • Ensure all vehicles are serviced and repaired as scheduled or as required

  • Ensure all vehicles are cleaned and detailed

  • Be accountable for the workshop and maintenance of all equipment

  • Keep details of all incidents associated with vehicles

  • Ensure equipment is serviceable and in accordance with required quantities and standards

  • Investigate and resolve damages and complaints as required

  • Implement the training and procedures that are required to improve the business operations

  • Assist with programs that build and commission new or replacement service vans and decommission outgoing vans


 


Skills and Experience:


 



  • A relevant mechanical trade certificate along with current experience, skills and qualifications

  • Willing to lead a team.

  • Ability to work unsupervised.

  • A positive attitude to safety

  • Have good technical expertise and diagnostic skills.
