About the role:
Our Light Vehicle mechanical division is currently in search for are dynamic individual who wants to take the next step in their career. Working with an intimate team we want a team player, someone who aspires to lead a team and be part of a large workshop also incorporated with the heavy vehicle team.

The role will require you to undertake the following.
- Provide technical expertise and direction for workshop staff.
- Lead all functions of the EVS workshop, including job allocation, stock control and work outcomes
- Implement a safety culture and maintain the workshop and surrounds in line with HSE workshop industry standards
- Develop systems to ensure that all vehicles and equipment are maintained at acceptable levels
- Ensure all vehicles are serviced and repaired as scheduled or as required
- Ensure all vehicles are cleaned and detailed
- Be accountable for the workshop and maintenance of all equipment
- Keep details of all incidents associated with vehicles
- Ensure equipment is serviceable and in accordance with required quantities and standards
- Investigate and resolve damages and complaints as required
- Implement the training and procedures that are required to improve the business operations
- Assist with programs that build and commission new or replacement service vans and decommission outgoing vans
Skills and Experience:
- A relevant mechanical trade certificate along with current experience, skills and qualifications
- Willing to lead a team.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- A positive attitude to safety
- Have good technical expertise and diagnostic skills.
