At Ken Hall, we are expanding fast, and looking for an ambitious, outcomes-driven Operations Manager – Electrical and Air Conditioning ready to take full ownership of scaling and shaping a growing, high-performing team.
You will start by leading a high-performing team of over 10+ Electricians and HVAC Specialists, supported by an office coordinator. Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will be backed by a strong management structure including our Senior Leadership Team, Talent Manager, and Operations peers across our Plumbing, Trades and Roofing divisions. Together, you’ll grow capability, performance, and profit and take the Electrical and Air Conditioning division to new heights.

What You Will Do
• Lead all day-to-day operations and performance of the Electrical and Air Conditioning division
• Grow and develop your team through in-field coaching, mentoring, and training
• Take ownership of Sales and Revenue budgets
• Recruit, onboard, and retain top-tier talent with the support of our internal Talent Manager
• Collaborate weekly with fellow Operations Managers and senior leadership
• Drive excellence, culture, and performance across every aspect of service delivery
• Support the integration and onboarding of new business acquisitions into the division
• Facilitate monthly toolbox talks and weekly training sessions
You Will Be Successful If You
You are motivated, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering results. You’ll bring a strong mix of operational experience, technical knowledge, and people leadership — with the drive to build something great.
• Experience leading electrical or service operations with measurable results
• Proven ability in sales, building strong client and supplier relationships
• Experience across a wide range of electrical maintenance and repairs
• Current Supervisor’s Licence with demonstrated management skills
• Licensed A-Class Electrician with extensive knowledge of AS3000
• HVAC experience highly regarded (but not compulsory)
• Strong commercial acumen and accountability for performance outcomes
• High level of computer literacy and operational systems experience
• Reliable, solutions-focused, and able to multitask between various projects
• Ability to motivate and work collaboratively within a team environment
• Full Australian Driver’s Licence
• White Card and Police Clearance
• Availability Monday to Friday, with flexibility as required for operational needs
