The Opportunity
As part of our 2026 Apprenticeship Intake, we are offering the Nationally Accredited Trade Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology (Heavy Duty Diesel Fitter) based in our Launceston branch. To be successful in this role you will be mechanically minded, have a genuine passion for the industry and a positive attitude towards workplace safety.
As a Hitachi Mobile Plant Mechanic Apprentice, you will undergo structured training to learn how to service, maintain, and repair a wide range of mobile plant equipment. Under the guidance of experienced mechanics, you will develop skills in diagnosing mechanical issues, conducting routine inspections, and performing preventive maintenance tasks.
Successful applicants will commence in January 2026.
