About the Role
MFE is continuing to grow across critical energy and industrial projects, and we’re looking for two experienced Mechanical Projects Supervisors to join the team in Chinchilla.
This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for mechanically minded supervisors who thrive in fast-paced site environments and are passionate about leading trades teams, delivering quality outcomes, and building strong client relationships.
Working across a diverse portfolio of mechanical project scopes, you’ll play a key role in driving safe, efficient, and high-quality project delivery across the Surat Basin region.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise mechanical trades teams across maintenance and project scopes

Deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget

Coordinate daily site activities, contractors, materials, and resources

Drive a strong safety-first culture and ensure compliance across all works

Build and maintain positive client and stakeholder relationships onsite

Monitor project progress, provide reporting updates, and identify improvement opportunities.
What You’ll Bring

Mechanical trade qualification (Fitter, Boilermaker or similar)

Previous experience supervising mechanical or heavy industry work crews
-
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to mentor teams

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a site-based environment
-
Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
-
Experience within mining, energy, oil & gas, or industrial services highly regarded.
