OUR TEAM

Our Munitions teams in Benalla and Mulwala produce propellants, explosives and munitions for defence and commercial uses. With ongoing investment into research and development, we produce some of the world’s most high-performing guided weapons and explosive ordnance systems. And being at the forefront of a rapidly evolving industry gives our teams constant opportunities to build on their technical expertise.

YOUR ROLE

  • Onsite - Day Shift

  • Coordinate and supervise mechanical trade personnel, apprentices, trade assistants, and contractors

  • Liaise with Production personnel to develop a weekly planned maintenance schedule

  • Provide technical advice and support to team members and contractors

  • Strive to increase preventive and predictive maintenance across the facility

  • Utilise root cause analysis (RCA) techniques to address plant reliability issues

  • Ensure safety standards are maintained and observed at all times

  • Manage Service Requests & Work Orders for the workgroup and ensure timely completion of PMs

  • Participate in audits and continuous improvement activities

YOUR EXPERIENCE

  • Trade qualifications in a Mechanical Trade

  • Strong mechanical trade experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Demonstrated experience in fault finding and troubleshooting

  • Ability to use a Computerised Maintenance Management System

  • Ability to work independently and coordinate workloads and priorities for yourself and your team

  • Must be an Australian Citizen for defence clearance purposes
