Skills:

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Install new machinery and equipment according to specifications
• Conduct regular maintenance checks on existing machinery
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in a timely manner
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance of equipment
• Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot complex problems

Qualifications:

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in mechanical engineering or related field
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Mechanical Fitter
• Certification in relevant technical training programs is preferred
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
