We have an urgent requirement for a qualified Mechanical Fitter/Maintainer to work with our client Roy Hill at their mine. The role is offered FIFO Perth on a 2:2 roster 7 Days followed by 7 Nights. Up to $75 to $80 per hour plus super based on experience. 5 Month contract initially. NOTE. Ideally you will be Roy Hill inducted and available to mobilise quickly.
The Role
The core responsibilities of this position include:
- Complete scheduled and unscheduled maintenance inspections including but not limited to break down maintenance on crusher, screen conveyors and balance machines
- General fitting duties
- Assisting with plant clean up
- Complete daily inspections of Process Plant equipment and report on its condition
- Ensure adequate materials and supplies are available to effectively perform the required tasks and ensure works are completed in compliance with Roy Hills Safety Policies and Procedures
About You
To be considered for this role you will ideally have:
- Trade qualification as a Fitter
- Experience in mechanical maintenance within a process plant or similar industrial environment
- Current WA Drivers Licence, Unrestricted C Class required
- Elevated Work Platform, Rigging and Dogging High Risk Work Licences (desirable)
- Working at heights & confined spaces (desirable)
- Strong understanding of Critical Risks associated with Fixed Plant Maintenance
- Hydraulic Experience (desirable)
