About this Position
Deliver comprehensive engineering and maintenance services to ensure the safe, reliable operation of all plant, equipment, buildings, and infrastructure, while driving business growth and sustainability through the successful execution of engineering and construction projects.ย
What youยดll do
- Ensure equipment is reliable, fit for purpose, and meets visual standards.
- Coordinate and manage breakdown maintenance for plant, equipment, buildings, and infrastructure.
- Provide technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve reliability and performance issues.
- Oversee and maintain preventative and predictive maintenance schedules and reports.
- Monitor contractor performance to ensure service standards are met.
- Conduct contractor inductions and ensure adherence to site safety and environmental rules.
- Intervene to stop unsafe practices and ensure a safe working environment.
- Analyze maintenance data to identify opportunities for cost reduction, improved reliability, and process efficiency.
What makes you a good fit
- Mechanical fitter trade qualifications with experience working on production machinery.
- Work experience in a chemical plant and hazardous areas.
- An understanding of heat treatment processes.
- Welding and steel fabrication experience is ideal.
- Knowledge of establishing and managing preventative maintenance, processes and programs.
