Summary:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join their strategic engineering team. This is a 12 month secondment role and the successful candidate will be located in our clients Perth office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering principles and be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Sound knowledge of static mechanical equipment in an operational O&G facility and/or Operational Power Station.
- Conduct testing and analysis of mechanical systems to ensure they meet performance and safety requirements
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and reports
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in mechanical engineering technology
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, including mechanics, thermodynamics, and materials science
- Experience with mechanical testing and analysis techniques
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
