BF Panels is a huge, purpose-built panel shop right next to the Riverina Highway between Albury and Thurgoona, with a large car park, separate towing and storage facility, and 4WD retail outlet on site. The 40-strong team works a 38-hour week (8–4.30) together. They’re backed by all the latest tooling and technology — including two full-size Car-O-Liner systems, computer measuring systems, three Lowbake spray booths, welders, etc.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Underbody Technician to join the team at BF Panels, Thurgoona.

In this permanent, full-time position you will showcase your specialist technician skills performing a range of responsibilities including suspension, fitting of accessories and bullbars and perform quality checks.

Monday to Friday. Showcase and build your skills with the support of a great team and modern workshop. Current experience required.

Role responsibilities

  • Diagnose damaged suspension parts and mechanical components
  • Dismantle and fit new mechanical and suspension parts.
  • Quality control and inspection of vehicles.
  • Test driving vehicles to ensure they meet quality repair standards.
  • Perform wheel alignments
  • Carry out system updates to diagnostic computers and wheel alignment computers when necessary..
  • Clean work bay and workshop areas.

  • Experience and training as a qualified Motor Mechanic/Underbody Technician Trade Licence
