An exciting opportunity exists for a self-motivated and experienced Field Service Technician to join our Krones Pacific team.

Duties & responsibilities:
• Install and commission mechanical equipment and production lines at customer sites.
• Perform mechanical diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on Krones systems.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance according to service schedules.
• Troubleshoot machine faults and coordinate with internal teams for technical support.
• Perform manual handling of machine components, tools, and equipment in line with safety standards.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Complete detailed technical service reports, job documentation, and provide customer feedback.
• Assist in spare parts identification and follow-up with the internal spare parts team.
• Maintain safety, compliance, and company quality standards.
Skills & experience:
• Technical qualification in Mechanical Trade or relevant tertiary qualifications in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum two years of experience in the food & beverage industry is preferred (Blow Moulding or packer/palletiser experience highly regarded)
• Flexibility to travel extensively in Australia, New Zealand and Overseas
• Previous experience in working in cross-functional and multinational teams is highly regarded
• Proficiency in English, with strong reporting and documentation skills
• Hold a current Drivers Licence
Position Summary:
The Field Service Technician – Mechanical, is responsible for installing, maintaining, and servicing Krones equipment at customer sites across Australia and the wider Oceania region. This role ensures high-quality service delivery and ongoing customer satisfaction through technical excellence and professional support.
