Buttrose Earthmovers, a leading name in the construction industry, is seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic with a preference for Caterpillar equipment expertise.
Responsibilities:
Conduct routine maintenance and inspections.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
Perform repairs and replacements on faulty components.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical problems efficiently and effectively.
Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
Maintain detailed records of work performed, including parts used and repairs made.
Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with supervisors and clients.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, with a focus on Caterpillar machinery.
Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical issues.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong work ethic and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Valid driver’s license.
