Diesel Mechanic (AUSTRALIA)

ConsultANZ is seeking a Diesel Mechanic for a client to work on diverse projects in Queensland in an on-site capacity.

• $75-100k base + super
• Burleigh Heads region, Queensland
• Repair and maintenance of diesel engines

You will be responsible for: 

• Running diagnostic tests on vehicle engines and parts.
• Analyzing diagnostic test results.
• Replacing vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions and braking systems.
• Conduct regular preventative maintenance on vehicles, including inspection, tyre rotation and oil changes
• Tests and adjusts mechanical parts after being repaired for proper performance, diagnoses and tests parts with the assistance of computers.
• Performing preventative maintenance.
• Maintaining detailed records of serviced vehicles.
• Adhering to an inspection procedure checklist.

• Relevant qualification - Mechanic or Diesel Technician, with Red Seal qualification being highly beneficial.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in the similar role.
• High attention to detail and display a positive & self-motivated attitude.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and be able to work in a team environment.
