DIESEL FITTER / MECHANIC

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform servicing, maintenance, and repairs of farm machinery and equipment.
  • Support the construction of new machinery and equipment.
  • Assist in the training of machine operators, troubleshooting, and maintenance where applicable.
  • Maintain accurate servicing records and action repairs as required.
  • Keep maintenance “in-house” to reduce costs wherever possible.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Trade-qualified.
  • Strong diagnostic and repair skills with a proactive approach.
  • Ability to train and guide others effectively.
  • Organised, with a focus on detail and record-keeping.

WORKSHOP ASSISTANT

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with servicing, maintenance, and basic repairs of farm machinery and equipment.
  • Support the construction and assembly of new machinery and equipment.
  • Carry out welding tasks as required.
  • Help troubleshoot machinery issues and assist operators with basic maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate records of servicing and repairs.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Mechanically minded with hands-on experience in a workshop setting.
  • Welding skills and a willingness to learn and take on new tasks.
  • A proactive and positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions effectively.
