What You’ll Be Doing

You won’t be stuck doing the same repairs day in, day out. As a BikesOnline mechanic, you’ll take on a dynamic role that blends hands-on bike work with problem-solving and process improvement. Your main tasks will include:

• Preparing returned bikes for resale, including repairs, boxing, photographing, and updating listings.
• Diagnosing mechanical issues, developing solutions, and performing repairs on returned bikes.
• Assessing and repairing bikes and wheels for warranty claims. 
• Assembling new bicycles for VIP’s, local pick ups and testing them to ensure they meet our quality standards.
• Occasionally prepping bikes for marketing shoots—yes, your work might be featured in our promotions!
• Workplace Maintenance – Ensuring a clean, safe and organised workspace in the warehouse.
• Managing the workshop's tools and inventory, keeping track of replacement parts and ensuring stock levels are maintained.
• Other tasks as required.

What You'll Have

We’re looking for a mechanic with a sharp eye for detail and a knack for problem-solving. If you love bikes, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy collaborating with a team, you’ll fit right in.

• Experience: Passion to working with bikes of all types, including eBikes.
• Technical Know-How: Ability to assess mechanical and cosmetic issues, determine repair viability, and get bikes back to peak condition.
• Problem-Solving Skills: You don’t just fix bikes—you find the best, most efficient solutions.
• Time Management: You’ll work on multiple bikes per day, so efficiency is key.
• Safety & Precision: Familiarity with safe lifting techniques and attention to detail.

Bonus Points if You Have:

• A qualification in bike maintenance (not required but a plus!)
• Experience working with a broad range of bicycle types.
