We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Fitter/Boilermaker to join our skilled Installations team based in Wacol.
Key duties include
Performing modifications and installations for new or used vehicle loading cranes and hook loaders
Assembly and disassembly of vehicle loading cranes and hookloaders
Assembly of RHS subframes in line with engineering specifications
Assisting other workshop installation fitters with new crane or hookloader installs.
Completion of all quality and process control documentation
Installation of ancillary electrical, mechanical and or hydraulic components associated with pre delivery inspections or installations
Always working in a safe manner and adhering to site policies and procedures in order to enhance the safety culture & performance of the site.
To be successful, you will need:
Prior experience working in a similar industry
Hold a Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade, or equivalent;
Experience working on heavy vehicles
Experience with cranes and or hook loaders an advantage
Ability to interpret drawings and procedures
Have strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
Have demonstrated ability to work safely
Have good time management and work prioritisation skills
Be able to work in a team
Have a current Drivers licence, HR preferable;
Be able to pass a pre-employment medical and a National Police Check.
