New Plumbing Solutions is building our team of Water Metering Technicians for upcoming Urban Utility project – and we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Be Doing – A Day in the Life

This is a hands-on, field-based role with plenty of autonomy, where your attention to detail and professionalism makes all the difference.

• Start your day at the NPS yard, picking up your allocated stock and checking your schedule

• Head out to site in your fully equipped work vehicle

• Attend 30+ residential or commercial properties per day

• Perform field metering activities including Installing/replacing meters, installing/replacing data loggers and completing metering investigations

• Accurately record meter specifications and site data using a mobile app

• Log each completed job before moving to the next

What We’re Looking For

• Current Driver’s Licence + White Card

• Comfortable with mobile job apps or data entry

• Customer-facing experience, clear communicator & problem solver

Nice to Have:

• Back-flow or TMV certification

• Experience in utility, water authority or contractor environments

• Registered plumber
