The Role 

We are seeking experienced Underground Production Drillers to join our underground mining teams. In this role, you will be responsible for drilling long holes for production and safely operating underground loaders to move ore and waste. 

Key Details 

• Location: King Island, Tasmania

• Roster: 14:14  

• FIFO from Major Cities 

• Accommodation and meals provided 

• Full-time, permanent positions 

Responsibilities 

• Operate underground production drill rigs (Sandvik DL421) safely and productively

• Conduct pre-start checks and routine maintenance on equipment 

• Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and site standards 

• Work closely with supervisors and other operators to achieve production targets 

• Identify hazards and report any issues promptly 

• Maintain accurate records and documentation of work completed 

Qualifications / Requirements 

• Proven experience as underground Production driller 

• Experience operating Sandvik DL421 or similar long hole drill rigs

• High regard for safety and teamwork 

• Current Working at Heights and Confined Space (desirable) 

• Australian citizen or permanent resident 

• Pass pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol screening 

• Police clearance within 6 months
