The Role 

We are seeking experienced Underground Loader Operators to join our underground mining teams. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of underground loaders to support production and development activities. 

Key Details 

• Location: King Island, Tasmania

• Roster: 14/14 

• FIFO from Major Cities 

• Accommodation and meals provided 

• Full-time, permanent positions 

Responsibilities 

• Proven experience operating underground loaders (CAT R2900, Sandvik or similar)

• Load and haul ore and waste in line with production targets 

• Conduct pre-start inspections and basic maintenance 

• Maintain safe working conditions and follow all site procedures 

• Communicate effectively with supervisors and other operators 

• Identify hazards and report any issues promptly 

• Maintain high standards of housekeeping underground 

Qualifications / Requirements 

• Proven experience operating underground loaders (CAT, Sandvik or similar) 

• Strong understanding of underground mining operations 

• Ability to work in a team and follow instructions 

• High regard for safety and operational procedures 

• Current Working at Heights and Confined Space (desirable) 

• Australian citizen or permanent resident 

• Pass pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol screening 

• Police clearance within 6 months
