About the role

MCA Engineering is seeking a qualified Underground Diesel Fitter to join the team in a full-time role based onsite in Orange for 18 months, with workshop work in Parkes NSW as required. This role will focus on maintaining and managing MCA’s fleet while supporting site operations in a safety-first environment.

What you’ll be doing

• Maintain, service and repair underground diesel equipment and fleet assets.
• Carry out breakdown work, inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Support onsite operations in Orange and workshop activity in Parkes.
• Diagnose faults efficiently and keep equipment operating safely and reliably.
• Work closely with the wider team to deliver high-quality outcomes for clients.

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 2 years’ underground mining experience is essential.
• Relevant trade qualification or currently completing one.
• Current White Card and current driver’s licence.
• Ability to pass a medical, including drug and alcohol testing.
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude.
