Wormall Civil is seeking experienced and safety-conscious Traffic Controllers to join our team. This WA Metro-based role supports our Traffic Management division and will see you working across multiple project sites to ensure the safe and efficient control of traffic throughout our civil construction operations.

About the Role:

The Traffic Controller will be responsible for implementing and managing traffic guidance schemes, setting up and removing signage and devices, and ensuring the safety of road users and workers. This hands-on role requires proactive communication, attention to detail, and strict adherence to traffic management plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and monitor traffic management for works
  • Set up, monitor and pack down traffic control equipment and signage
  • Use stop/slow bat and two-way radios to control road user flow
  • Load and unload vehicles with traffic signage and devices
  • Maintain safe access for pedestrians and vehicles
  • Complete daily traffic diaries and other required documentation
  • Control pedestrians and road traffic
  • Follow instructions from the Traffic Supervisor and complete documentation accurately
  • Promote a strong safety culture and risk management awareness

What You’ll Need:

  • Basic WorkSafe Traffic Management certification (required)
  • WTM Accreditation (desirable)
  • WA Construction White Card (required)
  • WA Driver’s Licence – C Class
  • First Aid Certificate (desirable)
