Our organisation is a leading supplier of Automotive paint and consumables to the vehicle refinishing industry. We are a customer-focused business that believes in delivering the best service experience possible for our customers.

Due to ongoing growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technical Representative to join our team. This role would be suited to a qualified tradesperson looking to step into a technical sales and business development role in the Central Coast, Newcastle region. While still hands-on, you would be working with existing and prospective customers, demonstrating the technical advantages of our suite of products and what sets us apart from the competition.

Reporting to our Technical Manager, your primary responsibilities would include: -

• Promote the technical advantages of products in the product portfolio through regular product demonstrations to customers and internal stakeholders

• Work with existing and new customers on identified coating issues to find a proactive resolution

• Train customers and internal stakeholders on coating techniques that enable a transition to our coating products

• Demonstration and training in colour selection mixing software

• Complete the installation of Paint systems and troubleshoot with existing customers

• Assist customers in preparing work areas such as paint rooms to achieve best in class paint storage and coating facilities

• When required, assist key customers with painting needs which may involve assisting with daily operations and upskilling their workforce through training

• Build new business within the region

To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following criteria: -

• Trade Qualified Spray Painter

• Minimum 5 years’ Experience

This role comes with an attractive salary package and a fully maintained company car. Some regional travel to Customers maybe be required.
