Due to ongoing growth and development, we are currently seeking a suitably qualified and experienced switchboard electrician to join our growing switchboard manufacturing business unit manufacturing switchboards and MCC’s for LV electrical infrastructure projects.

As a key member of our switchboard manufacturing team, you’ll support the electrical design team and switchboard specialists deliver high-profile infrastructure projects, driving quality outcomes from design through to delivery.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Manufacture electrical switchboards and motor control centres (Cubic experience highly desirable) in accordance with project design documentation.
  • Read and interpret control schematics with the ability to fault find.
  • Perform quality checks and functional testing of completed boards.
  • Facilitate client Factory Acceptance Testing and complete testing and handover documentation.
  • Work closely with design engineers and switchboard specialists to ensure scheduling and on-time delivery.
  • Occasional site installation activities, including commissioning.

To be successful in the position the following attributes are essential:

  • QLD Electrical Licence & White Card
  • Current LVR/CPR certificate
  • Experience in motor control centre manufacturing (Cubic experience highly desirable).
  • Strong skills in wiring, terminations, and interpreting schematics
  • Commitment to quality workmanship and safe work practices
  • A team-oriented approach with excellent communication skills
