We are currently partnering with a local electrical contractor who deliver electrical contracting and switchboard manufacturing to a wide range of clients across South-East Queensland. Located from their premises in Northgate, their Switchboard manufacturing division is now seeking switchboard builders to join their workshop team. This division is responsible for the design, manufacture and supply of customised switchboards for commercial and industrial sectors.
Switchboard Builders
We are recruiting experienced Switchboard Builders to join the team in a temp to permanent opportunity. The company will provide full training for the right applicant and we encourage candidates who have overseas electrical licences to apply.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Interpretation of schematics and control diagrams
- Install and terminate low voltage and control cabling
- Install switchboard apparatus including but not limited to chassis, circuit breakers, metering, CTs, main switches, panel meters, surge diverters, fault current limiters
- Diagnose and rectify faults of apparatus/circuits
- Ensure a safe work environment is maintained in accordance with company policy and procedures
