Job Opportunity: Electrician at Bauxite Hills Mine
Location: Bauxite Hills Mine
Position Type: FIFO 15:13, 12-hour shifts.
Our client is seeking skilled and dedicated Electricians to join their team at Bauxite Hills Mine! This dynamic FIFO (Fly-In, Fly-Out) role on a 15:13 roster with 12-hour shifts involves a wide range of electrical services across the site’s fixed plant, camp facilities, and auxiliary equipment, contributing to installations, maintenance, repairs, and testing. Key Responsibilities:
- Electrical Services: Provide diverse electrical support across fixed plant, camp facilities, and auxiliary equipment.
- Installations & Maintenance: Conduct new installations, troubleshoot breakdowns, perform preventative maintenance, and repairs.
- Site Equipment Management: Service key site equipment, including STPs, WTPs, crushers, screens, conveyors, and spreaders.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all tasks comply with SOPs, site safety, and mining regulations.
- Collaborative Work Environment: Work closely with supervisors and contribute to team goals and quality standards.

Technical Guidance: Provide expertise in electrical systems and troubleshooting methods to team members.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Australian Electrical Trade Qualification
- QLD Electrical License
- Additional Tickets: EWP, Forklift, AC ticket (highly regarded)
- Experience with PLC/Instrumentation
- Class C Driver’s License
- First Aid & CPR/LVR Certification
- Tooling: Own tools specific to the trade
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work and contribute to a diverse and inclusive team environment
