Spray Painter's Assistant

Mercedes-Benz Bencar Autobody brings together the right people, tools and facilities to restore prestige vehicles to OEM specifications. The team of 25 is friendly and diverse; the site is clean, well presented and spacious — covering over 6000m2. As an approved repairer for Mercedes, Lexus and Audi, the shop maintains state-of-the-art, manufacture-approved tooling and technology including specialised aluminium repair bays. The site is easy to reach from the Maroondah Highway or Blackburn Train Station.

The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Painter's Assistant to join our team at Mercedes-Benz Bencar Autobody.

We are a quality focused workshop and have the latest in automotive technology.

Work with prestige vehicles. Permanent position with a 4pm finish on Friday's. Regular overtime and Saturday work available.

Role responsibilities

• Assist the spray painter in completing paint jobs in accordance with processes and procedures
• Sign off on the final colour, including minor colour adjustments to deliver a high-quality paint finish for the customer
• Maintain spray booths, equipment, and robots daily
• Any ad hoc duties as directed by leadership

Does this sound like you? 

• Experienced Painter's Assistant (Preferred)
• Have experience in Collision Repair industry (Preferred)
• Have full Australian Working rights and valid drivers licence
