The opportunity:

Kinetic Fleet Services (KFS) is currently on the lookout for a Spray Painter who is committed to bringing damaged vehicles back to brand new conditions through their valuable craft. 

Our site in Launceston is equipped with some of the best tools, equipment, and facilities to assist you in producing the highest quality of work and performing best industry practice. You’ll also be exposed to a wide range of buses, trucks, and trailers to work on which keeps every day fresh and interesting.

You’ll be involved in:

• Assessing damaged vehicles and deciding on best approach for completing repairs in a cost and time effective way
• Using specialized tools and equipment for sealing, sanding, masking, priming, and spray painting
• Performing quality control including final work checks and vehicle cleaning
• Following OHS requirements to complete work in an appropriate manner
• Completing records and reports in relation to work carried out

The boxes you’ll tick: 

• Previous experience in Spray Painting with a variety of vehicle types
• Hold a current driver's licence (MR licence or higher is preferred but not mandatory)
• Working knowledge of a vehicle workshop environment 
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a large team
