Job tasks and responsibilities include:

• Prepare detailed mechanical drawings for custom timber and aluminium design elements, including individual parts and complex layouts, ensuring alignment with Sculptform’s architectural project needs.
• Assist in the installation and assembly of new or modified mechanical components and systems, focusing on Sculptform’s unique products like Click-on battens for walls, ceilings, and facades.
• Perform routine maintenance and adjustments on Sculptform’s manufacturing equipment and control systems, ensuring they meet the specifications and high-quality standards of architectural projects.
• Provide technical assistance to clients, focusing on the optimal use and maintenance of Sculptform’s products to maintain their aesthetic and functional integrity.
• Collect and analyze data to assist in the design and modification of mechanical equipment, with a focus on innovative architectural solutions in timber and aluminium.
• Conduct field and laboratory tests to ensure Sculptform’s products and systems function correctly and meet project requirements.
• Estimate material costs and quantities, with a focus on optimizing resource use in line with Sculptform’s commitment to sustainability and efficiency.
• Organize and supervise the inspection and maintenance of equipment, ensuring that all products meet Sculptform’s rigorous quality standards.
• Ensure that designs and finished work adhere to specifications, regulations, and contract provisions, maintaining Sculptform’s reputation for high-quality, custom architectural solutions.
Skills required:
– At least 3 years of relevant work experience
– Experience and familiarity with the tools required by the role
– Attention to detail, reliability and precision
