Solar Electrician (in-office position)

We’re looking for an experienced CEC/SAA accredited electrician to join our friendly residential solar team, based in a modern office at Pinkenba, Brisbane. The job is a mix of office-based support, sharing the technical expertise you gathered in the field with our sales, operation and service teams, while also carrying out some in-field activities that support both our existing customer base and our internal installation teams.

This is the perfect role for someone who’s over being on the tools all day every day and would like to enjoy an air-conditioned office some of the time – but with the opportunity to still get out and about across the week.

About the role

• Providing technical advice to our residential team and information to our customers
• Providing scheduling support and leadership to the internal installation teams
• On-site fault-finding and desktop/on-site quality audits
• Pre-installation site inspections
• System health checks for existing customers and the RACQ Insurance business
• Residential and commercial service work
• Providing ad hoc extra help for installation work when required.

Your skills and experience

• We’re looking for someone who is:
• An experienced CEC/SAA/battery accredited electrician
• Proactive, organised and enjoys problem-solving
• Competent with computer software (sound ability to use and learn Microsoft Office and in-house software systems)
• Sociable, friendly and with good communication skills
