Solar Electrician

Enwise Electrical & Refrigeration has exciting opportunities for qualified Electricians to join our versatile and growing team. We offer a wide variety of projects across multiple industries, including mining, industrial, commercial, solar, and domestic sectors. We are currently seeking CEC Accredited Solar Installers to be part of our expanding team.

Enwise are locally based and operated in Emerald, Central Queensland. With an extensive range of works including government contracts, mining maintenance and construction projects coming up, we are looking for Full Time Local or DIDO employees to join our team. Relocation packages would be considered for the right applicant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation of solar panels, inverters and batteries for residential and commercial solar Jobs
• Able to attend any Job related technical issue at the Job site (fault finding)
• Other related electrical works such as fit-offs, switchboard upgrades, cable runs etc. as and when required
• Ensure high compliance with safe electrical standards and CEC guidelines

Your Experience:

• Excellent Work Ethic and Commitment to Safety
• Highly motivated with the ability to work autonomously
• Excellent communication skills
• Provide technical support and advice to field technicians
• Ability to assist in the training of apprentices
• Physically fit to handle solar panel installations
• Demonstrated experience across a broad range of electrical applications including domestic and commercial
• Ability to work unsupervised as a professional representative of our company

Successful Applicants will have:

• Unrestricted QLD Electrical Licence
• Current CEC approved Solar Installer accreditation
• CEC approved Battery Installer (desirable)
• Current LVR/CPR
• Full Driver’s Licence
• Current Working at Heights, Construction White Card, and First Aid CPR (to be obtained if not current)
• A valid Police Check is required, or willingness to obtain one
• A commitment to upholding company policies, quality standards, and objectives at all levels

Remuneration:

• Competitive remuneration based on experience and qualification/s
• Additional $6 per hour local allowance
• Phone allowance
• Use of a company vehicle
• $10,000 relocation packages available for eligible candidates outside of Emerald
