SBP Australia is an industrial and commercial builder, and our Modular team is going places! Our Modular Builders specialise in the design and construction of modular and portable buildings on site in our Salisbury workshop, including portable offices, amenities, equipment huts and specialised buildings.
We take our work seriously, but rarely ourselves. We have high standards, and decades of experience and expertise. With the steady growth in our Modular division, we want to invest in training long-term team members who are looking for a permanent, full-time position.
THE ROLE
We're seeking:
- Modular / portable buildings builders
- Trades: Carpenters, Plumbers / Roofers
- Experienced Labourers and Trades Assistants
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Use hand tools and power tools to safely assemble modular and portable buildings.
- Perform cladding, decking, finishing, door and window installation, internal fit-outs and much more on modular and portable buildings.
- Read and interpret work orders, schedules, drawings and specifications.
- Adhere to all quality and safety requirements.
REQUIREMENTS
- Construction White Card
- Work well in a small team environment
- Provide own basic hand tools (tool belt, hammer, cordless drill, tape measure, tin snips, set square)
- Eagerness to learn new techniques and systems
The following will be favourable but not mandatory:
- Trade certificate in any relevant industry
- Experience in insulated panel construction
- High-risk licenses including Forklift, Scissor Lift, Work at Heights, Elevated Work Platform
