The Role

We are seeking experienced Shaft Lining Operators to join our high‑performing underground crews.

In this hands‑on role, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining shaft lining systems to ensure the structural integrity, safety, and longevity of mine shafts.

This is a fast‑paced underground environment where safety, precision, and teamwork are critical.

Key Details

• Roster: 14 days on / 14 days off
• Employment Type: Full‑time, permanent
• FIFO: From major Australian cities
• Accommodation & meals: Provided on site
• Pay: Competitive rates, paid fortnightly

Responsibilities

• Install concrete, steel, or composite linings in mine shafts
• Operate shaft lining systems, formwork, and placement equipment
• Work with shotcrete, grout, and reinforcement materials
• Assist with shaft sinking and ground support activities
• Monitor and maintain correct alignment, thickness, and quality of lining installations
• Adhere to strict safety procedures in confined underground environments

Skills & Experience

• Underground mining or shaft sinking experience
• Sound knowledge of ground support and shaft lining systems
• Ability to operate specialised equipment
• Strong safety awareness and teamwork
• Physically fit and comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces

Qualifications / Requirements

• Australian citizen or permanent resident
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
• Current Police Clearance (within 6 months)
