About the Opportunity
We are seeking a full-time Service Electrician to join our Service team and support the needs of our clients.
You will need to be comfortable working autonomously and as part of a team to assist clients with their needs whilst delivering on time high-quality services to our class leading product range.
Typical duties will include:
• Commissioning and installation of products
• Providing customers with technical advice
• Understanding Work Orders and electrical drawings to complete site work
• Testing of electrical and mechanical systems and providing resolutions
• Providing detailed reporting to support subject found and job completion and testing
• Adhering to all company and cliental policies and procedures
About You
• Must have an A Grade Electrical Licence.
• Motor vehicle licence
• Understanding of wiring diagrams
• Understanding of control circuits
• Basic plumbing knowledge
• Working with pumps experience - desirable.
• Understanding of mine site OH&S Requirements
• Ability to provide comprehensive reports on commissioning and on site testing
• Previous experience working in the manufacturing/construction industry.
• You will have excellent work ethic.
• A positive ‘can-do’ attitude.
• Proven ability to work unsupervised.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience and understanding of HSE compliance.
• Be willing to travel to remote areas up to 2 weeks on any one project.
Education/Certificate Levels
• Completion of Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (or like experience/qualifications) or higher
• A current WA Electrical Workers Licence
• Vehicle licence
• High Risk Forklift Licence
• Confined space entry certificate
• Working at heights certificate
• White/Blue card
• Senior first aid certificate (or equivalent)
Software Knowledge Requirements
• MS Excel – Intermediate
• MS Word – Intermediate
• MS Outlook – Intermediate
