Senior Mechanical Project Engineer

Who are we looking for?

We're looking for a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer to join our Resources and Materials Engineering team in Perth.

And as we look to transition from traditional energy sources to adopt more renewable alternatives, you can play a key role in enabling and accelerating this change. 

We’ll support you every step of the way as you join us in finding sustainable energy solutions to make a positive impact that will last for generations. 

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

• Provide technical leadership in the planning and execution of mechanical engineering projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical engineering elements seamlessly
• Provide technical expertise and technical reports to clients, following both client and GHD guidelines.
• Development of detailed project plans outlining scope, timeline, budget, and resource requirements
• Act as a key technical point of contact for clients

What you will bring to the team:

• Proven experience as a Project Engineer with a focus on mechanical engineering projects within a consultancy
• Experience in the mining / resources industry
• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a preference for also holding Project Management qualifications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients and project teams
• Solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles, codes and standards
