About the role
As an experienced Senior Mechanical Maintenance Technician, the employee is responsible for delivering both planned and reactive mechanical maintenance across East Gippsland Water assets, with an initial focus on recycled water treatment facilities. In addition to maintenance delivery, the role includes providing specialised input into the development and optimisation of mechanical maintenance plans and schedules, project scoping and design (aligned with the employee’s skills and expertise), development of maintenance procedures and documentation, and preparation of condition assessment reports.
Initially, the role will concentrate on supporting operational and maintenance activities at recycled water treatment plants within the EGW network. However, it is expected that within 12 months, the position will transition into the central maintenance team, expanding its mechanical maintenance responsibilities across all EGW assets.

* This role has been classified as per our Enterprise Agreement as a Band 3 position, ($83,811.38 - $94,710.54 per annum)
