The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Motor Rewinder / Mechanical–Electrical Fitter to join our expanding team in Truganina.

This is a senior, hands-on position ideal for a tradesperson who enjoys combining technical excellence with mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Overhaul, rewind and repair of AC and DC motors and generators.

• Perform and record electrical/mechanical inspections and tests.

• Carry out testing, fault diagnosis, and precision repairs on rotating equipment and associated electrical components.

• Lead and mentor apprentices and junior fitters, ensuring best practice and safety compliance.

• Maintain accurate job records and adhere to all WHS requirements.

About You

To be successful, you will bring:

• Certificate III in Electrical Fitting / Electrotechnology or equivalent trade qualification.

• 5+ years’ experience in electric motor rewinding and rotating equipment repair.

• Strong attention to detail, excellent fault-finding skills, and solid mathematical aptitude.

• Reliability, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work both independently and in a team.

• A commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
