About the role

  • Develop a Test Schedule capturing Type Tests, Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), Integrated Factory Acceptance Tests (IFAT) 
  • Manage the QA and test script execution processes of MEP equipment/start-up as per design specifications, Document and report on scope changes 
  • Provide technical and operational support to both site teams and clients throughout the project lifecycle, promoting proper service levels and client satisfaction 
  • Carry out preparation of Testing and Commissioning Plans, Testing Specifications, Procedures and Test Documentation (ITP’s/ITC’s) as required for the project 
  • Review the Testing and Commissioning Documentation from sub-contractors 
  • Ensure testing targets and objectives being met as defined in the project program 
  • Provide support for the planning and control of all testing requirements, resources and test equipment 
  • Provide support to plan and organise possessions, outages and necessary precautions required for the safe testing & commissioning of the works, in liaison with the sub-contractors, Joint Venture partners, client’s representative, the Authority and the Project/Construction Manager 
  • Incorporate the company’s Quality and Safety strategy in all activities associated with the position. 

About You

·       Tertiary education preferably a Bachelor degree or Post-graduate qualification in Electrical, Electronic or Mechanical Engineering  

·       Experience in engineering design, commissioning and leadership roles 

·       Experience in Data Centre or Building Services projects testing and commissioning especially M&E works.      

·       Good organisational and problem-solving skills 

·       Strong oral and written communication skills 

·       Strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally 

·       Demonstrated ability to work independently to organize and prioritize demands, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines and follow-through within a fast-paced environment with multiple and competing demands 

·       Australian Drivers License
