Construction delivers efficient, financially competitive, whole of life, infrastructure. Our comprehensive knowledge of our project services and assets enables us to communicate and negotiate for the best long-term options to meet the needs of the ratepayers and residents of Brisbane.
Construction delivers an extensive range of specialist services in the areas of infrastructure, storm water drainage, bridge maintenance, transport network technologies, trades, land remediation, asset intelligence, lighting and facility services.
The Role
Play a pivotal role in leading Council’s traffic control business, including workforce management, service delivery, plant and equipment, contracted services, commercial performance, safety, compliance and customer service. The role supports the delivery of construction, maintenance and emergency response activities across Brisbane by ensuring temporary traffic management services are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required standards.
In addition to operational leadership, you will provide strategic direction, technical governance and expert advice on temporary traffic management, road occupancy and traffic control operations. This is an opportunity to influence Council’s long-term approach to traffic control and construction delivery, while building strong partnerships across construction, maintenance, emergency management, transport and regulatory stakeholders.
