About WSP and Sydney Metro
Join WSP and help deliver Sydney Metro, Australia’s largest public transport infrastructure program. We are seeking experienced Building Services Engineers — Mechanical or Electrical — at Senior, Associate, and Associate Director levels to support station and precinct design across this iconic project.

If you have solid technical grounding in building services design for complex public infrastructure, this is a rare opportunity to help shape the future of Sydney’s transport network.

The Opportunity
You will lead and deliver building services engineering for metro stations and associated facilities, ensuring systems that are safe, sustainable, resilient, and passenger‑centred.

At Associate Director level, you will also provide strategic leadership, client engagement, and oversight across multiple design packages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead mechanical or electrical building services design for stations, tunnels, and precinct infrastructure
  • Coordinate with architecture, civil/structural, and rail systems teams
  • Deliver projects using BIM and digital engineering tools for integrated design
  • Drive sustainability, energy efficiency, and Future Ready® design outcomes
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers; participate in design reviews and stakeholder engagement
    (Associate Director) Provide technical leadership, lead client interfaces, and oversee multidisciplinary delivery

About You
You will bring:

  • Experience at Senior, Associate or Associate Director level in building services engineering
  • Strong technical capability in mechanical or electrical building services (HVAC, power systems, lighting, fire, vertical transport, etc.)
  • Experience delivering projects within transport, rail, or complex public infrastructure
  • Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary design environments
  • Familiarity with BIM, digital coordination, and integrated design tools
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Full Australian work rights (essential)
