SCAFFOLDER

Anticipated Gross Annual Earnings – Intermediate Scaffolder - $201,840.00*

Anticipated Gross Annual Earnings – Advanced Scaffolder - $209,500.00*

As our valued Scaffolders, you will be vital to the success of our major mining construction projects at either the Tanami Mine in the Northern Territory or the Carrapateena Mine in South Australia.

Working a 2:1 FIFO roster with flights from most major cities, you’ll enjoy a better work-life balance. You’ll also be surrounded by a down-to-earth team of reliable, friendly, hard-working people - it’s not all hugs and roses, but we take your physical and mental health seriously.

You’ll make an impact by:

What you’ll bring

To succeed in this role, you will have experience in:

  • a mining construction and operations environment
  • erecting scaffolding structures around mining sites to provide safe access for workers & equipment.
  • regularly inspecting scaffolding for damage or wear and tear
  • following blueprints, diagrams, or specific instructions
  • safely dismantling scaffolding structures
  • handling and maintaining tools and equipment used in scaffolding assembly and maintenance.

Ideally, you will also have:

  • A valid C Class Drivers’ Licence as a minimum.
  • HRWL with relevant qualification
  • Working at Heights, Confined Space and Elevated Work Platform tickets
  • C6 or CO tickets are also desirable
  • Construction Card 
  • A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently and part of a team
  • Willingness to obtain a National Police Check and undergo a pre-employment medical
  • Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork mindset
  • Previous underground experience would be looked upon favourably but not essential
  • Safety - first mindset following safety protocols and hazard procedures
