About the Role
As a Sales Associate/ Bike Mechanic (All-Rounder), you’re a key part of the in-store experience—offering outstanding service, reaching sales goals, and helping across all areas of the store, including merchandising, stock management, and bike mechanic experience.
Sales & Hospitality
Use our Guide Sales Process to connect customers with the right bikes, gear, and services.
Develop your sales and customer service skills through training, role-playing, and on-the-job experience.
Utitlize Lead Lists to stay engaged with customers and drive sales.
Participate in daily huddles and debriefs to stay aligned with the team.
Make customer-focused decisions and do the right thing to create positive experiences.
Respond to phone calls and store emails with professionalism and helpfulness. Assist with UBG/Warranty cases—support customers, document exchanges, and coordinate with the Inventory DRI.
Product Knowledge
Learn about Trek bikes, components, apparel, and technology.
Maintain Trek University Guide Status by completing required training modules.
Store Operations
Support opening/closing duties, operate the Ascend POS, and complete end-of-day cash-up.
Complete tasks as directed by the Store Manager.
Be part of Daily Huddles
Uphold Trek’s uniform and presentation standards.
When Not with Customers, You’ll Help:
Complete the Daily Task List to support store efficiency.
Maintain visual merchandising standards: product placement, pricing, and restocking.
Conduct weekly Cycle Counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
Assemble or pre-assemble bicycles and prep bikes for service by the workshop team—bike mechanic experience is highly valued.
Keep both the showroom and back-of-house areas clean, tidy, and organized.
What We’re Looking For
You don’t need to be a bike expert—but you should bring energy, curiosity, and a desire to learn. Mechanical experience is a bonus but not essential.
