THE ROLE
Newkey Consulting is partnering with a leading infrastructure contractor delivering a major long-term project in the Central Coast region of NSW.
Due to continued growth and project demands, we are seeking experienced and motivated professionals for the following permanent positions:
- Electrical Project Engineer
- Mechanical Project Engineer
- Electrical Site Engineer
- Mechanical Site Engineer
These roles let you contribute to a significant infrastructure project while working with a highly experienced project delivery team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Engineers
- Manage Electrical or Mechanical contractor activities across project work fronts, ensuring project outcomes are achieved in line with drawings, timeframes, budget and quality standards
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve technical issues and drive outcomes promptly
Site Engineers
- Provide on-site Electrical or Mechanical engineering support to project delivery teams
- Support planning, site coordination, and daily construction activities
- Monitor quality assurance and compliance requirements
- Support subcontractor management and contribute to safety, environmental and quality outcomes.
ABOUT YOU
You are a motivated engineering professional looking to contribute to a major infrastructure project and develop your career within a supportive and high-performing team.
You may bring:
- Degree qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Mechatronic or related Engineering discipline
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Highly regarded:
- Project Engineers must have a minimum of 2-4 Years' onsite experience managing contractor activities, planning, and project delivery
- Site Engineers must possess 1–2+ years' post-graduate engineering experience
- Experience working on water or wastewater infrastructure works
- Exposure to managing contractor activities & project controls
