Roof Plumbing Apprenticeship

We're looking for two Roof Plumbing Apprentices to join a small, friendly team.

We're looking to grow our team with two Apprentice Roof Plumbers, based in Launceston.

Working in a friendly, closeknit team environment this apprenticeship will provide on-the-job skills and experience to gain a nationally recognised qualification – Certificate III in Roof Plumbing.

What would this involve?

• You would be employed by Work & Training, and hosted to our valued Host Business.
• Work is generally full time – Monday to Friday.
• Full entitlements including four weeks of holidays per year.
• Attending block training dates through TasTAFE.
• You would receive dedicated mentoring and support throughout the apprenticeship.
• Your workplace supervisors and team would provide daily instruction and additional workplace knowledge.

Learn how to:

• Install and maintain roofs, cladding and flashings,
• Install rainwater products such as downpipes, gutters and storage tanks,
• Work in a safe manner, adhering to strict guidelines and processes,
• Use and maintain a variety of tools and equipment,
• Develop and utilise your practical knowledge in rain and storm water systems,
• Enhance your verbal and written communication skills,
• Read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
