Job Description: We are seeking dedicated and eager individuals to join us as 1st, 2nd, or 3rd-year roof plumber apprentices. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain practical experience and develop your skills under the guidance of experienced registered professionals. You will be involved in various projects, learning all aspects of roof plumbing.
Responsibilities:
• Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of various roof plumbing systems.
• Learn to read and interpret, plans, and specifications.
• Work with a range of roofing materials including box gutters, flashing, cappings, rainheads and downpipes,.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes.
• Maintain and care for tools and equipment.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and experienced roof plumbers.
Requirements:
• Keen interest in roof plumbing and the construction industry.
• Eagerness to learn and ability to follow instructions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical fitness and the ability to work at heights.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (preferred).
• White Card (construction induction card) or willingness to obtain one.
