Roof Maintenance Plumber – City West

About the Role

This is a hands-on role focused on roof plumbing maintenance across commercial sites, industrial buildings, and apartment complexes throughout Inner Melbourne and the West. You’ll be responsible for diagnosing and resolving roof-related issues such as leaks, stormwater faults, blocked gutters/downpipes, and more.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Performing reactive and scheduled roof plumbing maintenance on commercial and apartment sites
• Diagnosing and repairing:

1. Roof leaks, blocked stormwater systems, gutter issues
2. Flashings, downpipes, and roof drainage
3. Issues impacting waterproofing or structural integrity

• Supporting broader plumbing maintenance tasks as needed
• Liaising with site contacts and clients
• Operating safely at heights and using standard roofing/plumbing tools
• Using SWMS and mobile apps to report and complete work orders

Required Skills & Experience

Must-Have:

• Registered Plumber (Victoria)
• Strong roof plumbing experience (maintenance focus)
• White Card
• Valid Driver’s Licence
• Working at Heights certification
• Experience with commercial/industrial plumbing maintenance.

Highly Regarded:

• Backflow & TMV testing (if certified)
• Familiarity with PRVs, pumps, and stormwater drainage
• Disconnect/Reconnect Licence
