About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and qualified Plumber to join our fast-paced production team based in Prestons, working on the assembly and fitout of poly and fibreglass pumpstations. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with strong plumbing skills, an eye for detail, and a passion for quality work. You will work within a streamlined production environment, assembling high-quality pumpstations for commercial applications. The role also includes active involvement in improving work processes by assisting with the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Safe Work Procedures (SWPs).

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out high-quality plumbing installations on poly and fibreglass pumpstations.

• Assemble pipework, valves, fittings, and associated components to design specifications.

• Read and interpret basic plumbing and mechanical drawings.

• Work efficiently within a production schedule to meet daily and weekly output targets.

• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area in accordance with WHS requirements.

• Assist in documenting and refining SOPs and SWPs to improve production consistency and safety.

• Collaborate with production supervisors, QA, and engineering teams to enhance product quality.

• Cross-train other team members in basic plumbing skills.

Requirements

• Licensed Plumber in NSW

• Proven experience with PVC, PE, and poly welding or fabrication (desirable)

• Experience working with fibreglass and fibreglass patching (desirable)

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.

• Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

• Comfortable contributing to procedure development and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Forklift licence or willingness to obtain (desirable).

• Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
