CARPENTERS REQUIRED FOR ONGOING BOWEN BASIN MINE SITE CONSTRUCTION WORKS

Established in 2008, LMP Project Services provides a wide range of plumbing, construction and civil construction services to the commercial, mining & industrial sectors in the Mackay region.

About our Opportunity:

This is an opportunity to join our highly experienced team with a reputation for delivery, working together for our customers to develop and provide solutions. We are seeking experienced and motivated Carpenters for construction maintenance project works in a mining environment. These drive in, drive out roles include accommodation and meals, and will be working on a 7/7 roster.

Experience/Skills required:

• Demonstrated experience in a similar environment


• Proven commitment to promoting safety, quality, and environment compliance on site.


• Able to work autonomously and as part of a team to plan and execute construction activities


• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail


• Ability to operate power tools and machinery safely and effectively


• Physically fit and be able to pass a coal board medical and drug & alcohol screening


• Good communication skills

Qualifications:

• Trade Qualification in Carpentry


• Construction White Card


• Current and valid Driver’s licence


• Work Safely at Heights Rii (Desirable but not essential)


• Elevated Work Platform Rii (Desirable but not essential)


• Confined Space Entry & Gas Test Atmosphere Rii (Desirable but not essential)
