Introduction

Consultanz is looking for a skilled Auto Electrician to work with our valued client — a leading provider of fire protection and suppression systems for mining, commercial, residential, and industrial sectors across Western Australia.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a trusted company that designs, installs, and maintains advanced fire safety solutions for heavy equipment and fixed-site applications.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Install, service, and maintain electrical components on vehicle-based and fixed fire suppression systems.

  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults and wiring issues on heavy mobile equipment.

  • Conduct inspections, testing, and calibration of detection and alarm systems.

  • Ensure compliance with all safety standards and client requirements.

  • Work collaboratively with technicians, engineers, and site personnel to deliver reliable fire protection solutions.

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Certificate III in Auto Electrical Technology (or equivalent).

  • Red Seal qualification (highly regarded).

  • Experience working on heavy vehicles, mining equipment, or similar industrial machinery.

  • Strong understanding of wiring, diagnostics, and electrical schematics.

  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and high-quality workmanship.

  • Current driver’s licence and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
