Position Description

Sync Lift Engineering currently have exciting opportunities available for skilled and motivated team players to join our growing Projects & Shutdowns Division.

We are looking for motivated individuals for ongoing, diverse work commencing ASAP. We have a range of projects & shutdowns in various sites across the Bowen Basin and interstate. The projects and shutdowns are booked back to back so the work is consistent and ongoing for the right applicants.

There are both casual and permanent opportunities for the right candidates!

Currently we have vacant positions for the below roles, where you can take pride in your work and be part of unique and exciting projects from Pit to Port:

• Boilermakers
• Fitters
• Riggers
• Trade Assistants

In these roles you will be responsible for:

• Working cohesively in a projects team on a variety of sites
• Carrying out work on a range of plant & equipment essential to mine site operations.
• Performing maintenance and shut down works on drag lines, shovels, fixed plant & port infrastructure across a variety of sites.
• Carrying out work in a safe & effective manner while adhering to site policies & procedures.

To be considered for these roles you must have:

• Relevant Trade Certificate
• Standard 11
• Proven experience in Mining/Heavy Mech Industry
• Ability to pass weld tests (Boilermakers)
• A current construction white card
• A current Working at Heights Certificate
• A current Confined Space Certificate
• A current Gas Test Atmospheres Certificate
• Great communication and interpersonal Skills

The following qualifications are highly regarded:

• A current MSIC (Marine Security Identification Card)
• EWP
• Telehandler
• Forklift
• Overhead crane
• Rigging or dogger tickets
• Current Coal Board Medical

Successful candidates must be able to meet all site entry requirements including drug and alcohol testing and a pre-employment medical.
